Tenisha Bernal is a children’s book author / illustrator and a former elementary school art docent who taught herself how to draw by recreating her favorite comic strips from the Sunday paper. Tenisha describes her art as a simple yet fun style for children of any age.

Favorite Animal? DOGS! I’m saving up to adopt one.
Dream Job: I always wanted to be an artist.
Favorite Sport? I love watching baseball, especially the Oakland A’s. As a kid I participated in Kenpo Karate. I blink WAY to much to play any sport where a ball can come flying at me.
